Transcript of ROTC audio slide show:

Sound Effect: Helicopter.

David Fisher, Cadet: My hobbies include running, shooting, hunting, being outdoors, and that pretty much is the army so I mean the infantry's what I always wanted to do.

Sound Effect: Natural sound of drill sergeant leading pushups.

Lieutenant Colonel Kirk Wallace: This isn't something that you just put on and walk out and then when you're done with it you take it off and then you go do something else. The hard work and discipline that we have really gives you a fiber, a background, even a moral compass to how you're going to live your life.

Sound Effect: Natural sound of walking through tall grass

Sound Effect: Natural sound of paintball guns firing.

David Fisher, Cadet: In the military, I wouldn't trade anything that I've learned for anything else because everything is really practical that they teach you and if you don't know it, you're going to have blisters on your feet, going to have bad grades, your heads going to hurt because your helmets not going to be on right. I mean pretty much everything they teach you is important.

Sound Effect: Natural Sound of drill sergeant "never leave your weapon, never leave you weapon, never.

Lieutenant Colonel Kirk Wallace: What I like about the cadets who are coming in is that they know that there is a war on terrorism. That's already upfront that we talk about four years what that could mean. You're getting true, honest, young people who know that and they still want to do it so that's even better.

Sound Effect: Natural Sound of steps, followed by fake gunfire sounds.

David Fisher, Cadet: They pretty much tell you when you come that as long as we take care of our grades, they'll make us officers and I believe it because what they've taught me so far, I mean I learned a lot, and I'm sure that by the time that I get out of here I'll be prepared to you know, serve in the army.
