2014 Kemper Fellowships for Teaching Excellence announced.
Ann Harrell, above, received a standing ovation when she received a 2014 William T. Kemper Fellowship for Teaching Excellence. Four of the School of Music associate professor’s students have won the Music Teachers National Association Young Artist Competition, most recently Anna Bridgman in 2014.
Four other faculty members received the award and a $10,000 bonus:
• John Bennett, associate teaching professor of marketing;
• Jeff Krug, MS ’08, assistant teaching professor of physical therapy;
• Leigh Neier, BA ’03, M Ed ’04, PhD ’08, assistant teaching professor of learning, teaching and curriculum; and
• Bryon Wiegand, BS ’95, associate professor of animal science.
