Ireland’s Got Talent
Graduate student Eimear Arkins woos audiences worldwide.
Eimear Arkins, a graduate student in journalism and law, is Mizzou’s only international student from Ireland. She travels the globe as a cultural ambassador, performing traditional Irish music. Her talents have earned 10 world‐championship titles, the first of which she won at age 9. On a foggy Columbia morning, she plays the violin and sings the traditional song “Flower Of Magherally.”
